Hello!
My name is Donna, I am a Columbus native (which is becoming more rare as the city is expanding) so if you ever need the happs on hair stores, soul food restaurants or anything else Columbus, lemme know.
Currently, I work at Smart Columbus as the storyteller, helping shape and form the narrative about the city’s technology strides. I am also a freelance journalist who writes and healthcare and technology, though I am a lifelong poet and black girl literature advocate. I also run a meetup group called Grammar and Chill, hosting happy hours for writers and book enthusiasts (@grammarandchill on IG). I also facilitate a writing workshop called Writing For Wellness that helps people develop a writing process to help with self discovery.
What else? Oh, I am a mom to a super toddler named Jeremiah. I like to call him my editorial assistant because at some point he will be working for me.
Other than work and mom life…I like the Columbus food scene, love arts and culture and I am a 80s sitcom, romcom fan.
