What are folx doing for the racial justice/liberation, census, voter registration, campaigning, etc. work? Let’s inspire another.

It only has zero because our site is so new – so you’re a pioneer!
But honestly, I’m glad you brought this up. I’d love to support some voter registration and census efforts via Zora’s House. Wondering what other activist/community orgs are engaging in this work locally and how folks are organizing in other parts of the country.
@snealewu-wilberforce-edu, has MAROON been doing any voter registration/census work? @Tessa, what about OPAWL? @PurposefullyLJ what type of efforts have you seen in your work? And anyone else feel free to chime in!

OPAWL is doing weekly voter outreach events – text banking, introducing new programs, phone banking, etc. There are events on FB. Maybe ZH could publicize and hop on? I know Y is doing phone banking. League of Women Voters as well!!

Sorry I am responding so late @lc (just saw this even though I was tagged?) but we do have an OPAWL voter engagement program! If folks are interested in making calls or texting AAPI women voters we have regular voter outreach events on Zoom: https://bit.ly/opawl2020
Ohio Women’s Alliance is also doing some great work to engage Black women in the election and they just launched their #deVOTEd2020 campaign!
