Hi everyone!
I’m Jordan, sometimes called Jo. I’m a grad student in GA working on a PhD in science education and an aspiring fiction writer among other things. I used to teach Zumba and its still one of my favorite things along with baking and reading. I’m glad to be here and getting to know folks and being in community with you!

Jo, welcome!!! What type of fiction are you writing? I’ve been tinkering around with an Afro-Fantasy novel for a couple years now and might actually try to make some real progress this year! (Although it this moment, I’m reading waaaayyyy more than I’m writing. Because, COVID. And toddlers. And life. Lol)

Afro-fantasy as well and assorted speculative fictions. The main piece I’m working on though is about Black witches! My goal for this year though is to progress in the novel along with writing and submitting some short stories!
